Morgan's Happiest Place on Earth

So after several days of watching our little girl in pain we decided we desperately needed to see her smile. For those of you who know Morgan well you know that the one sure thing to make her smile is ELMO! Morgan just adores him, so we decided that since it was only 8 miles from our hotel we would have to take Morgan to Sesame Place. So despite the at times pouring rain we ventured out to Sesame Place. Morgan's face lit up the moment we entered the park. She was so excited to see everything, especially everything Elmo. Our first stop of the day was to find the show Elmo's World Live. Once we located the show we stopped for a quick carousel ride and then jumped in line for the show. Due to the bad weather there was hardly anyone there, so we had great seats. When the music for Elmo's World started Morgan was so excited and a huge smile came on her face the second she saw Elmo at the top of the stairs. It was just what the whole family needed! After the Elmo show we went on a couple of rides: Elmo's Flying Fish and the Bug ride. We then headed over to see Morgan's second favorite character: Abby (I think the real reason Morgan likes Abby so much is because of her name, she is constantly calling her Abigail like her cousin). While waiting for the Abby show to begin it really began raining. We couldn't resist buying Morgan an Elmo poncho to keep her (and the casts) dry. She looked adorable in it. By the time Abby's show was ready to begin Morgan was exhausted so we took a short break while she napped in her stroller. After a 45 minute nap Morgan was ready to go again and thankfully another Abby show was ready to start. Morgan loved this show, I think even more than the Elmo's world one because Elmo and most of his friends (Abby, Grover, and Cookie Monster) were in it. They did a lot of singing and dancing which she really loved. After this show we headed straight over to the final show of the day: The Halloween Spooktacular hosted by the Count. Without planning it we saved the best show for last. Morgan was so excited, she clapped her hands the whole time and the best part was after the show. All the characters we right at the edge of the stage and they let the audience come up and say hi to all the characters. Morgan got to meet Big Bird, Zoie, Grover, the Count, and so many others. The final piece of the day was the Rock and Roll Parade. This was another one of Morgan's favorites because yet again she got lots of hugs and kisses from many of the characters.

In all it was a fabulous day (despite the rain).
