On Thanksgiving when we returned home from Donna and Charley's after a yummy Thanksgiving dinner Morgan found an interesting new friend waiting for her in her room. Her very own elf! That evening as we put Morgan to bed we read together the story of the
Elf on the Shelf. Morgan promptly named her new elf friend Mistletoe. She has been completely infatuated with her ever since and is so excited every morning to wake up and discover where Mistletoe is hiding. Morgan also loves to talk to Mistletoe and tell her all about her day and how she was a very good girl.
Here are some of the crazy and fun things Mistletoe has been up to while visiting our house and watching over the girls:
| Hanging out in the bathroom to keep Morgan company while she gets ready for school. |
| Enjoying a ride on Sugar. Mistletoe even remembered to be safe and wear a helmet. |
| Relaxing and watching some TV. |
| Hanging out in one of her favorite places, the Christmas tree. |
| Driving her friends to school. |
| Drying off after a nice warm bath. |
| She even colored Morgan a picture of a tree. |
| Silly Mistletoe and Repunzle. They were having fun playing together with Mistletoe pretending to use her hair to climb the tower. |
| Reading some of her favorite Christmas stories. |
Thankfully both girls have been amazing little kiddos so Mistletoe has had nothing but wonderful things to report to the big guy each night. Morgan is counting down the days until Christmas, she can't wait to see if Santa brings her everything she is hoping for.
Here is the letter that she typed to Santa a few weeks ago:
Santa
I want show pones and ribns.
My sistr
wants bals.
In case you didn't get all of that, Morgan would like some show ponies with ribbons and her sister (according to Morgan) would like some balls. Hopefully both girls will get everything they are asking for :)
