Where has the time gone. It seems like just yesterday we walked Morgan to her first day of kindergarten and now we have ourselves a first grader. Morgan was so excited to start first grade. She couldn't wait to have her own desk, eat lunch in the cafeteria with her friends, go to specials and most importantly play on the 'big kids' playground.
The morning of the first day was a typical rushed morning at our house, so I totally failed as a mom and did not take the 'first day of school' pics at home that I should have. Instead very last minute as we were unpacking the van I grabbed my phone and snapped a picture.

This year Morgan will continue working half her day with her amazing para she has had for the past three years and will spend the other half working with a new para. We are so grateful that she will have Ms. JoLynn still by her side. It is thanks to her that we have some photos to document her first day of school.

Morgan's first week of first grade went great. She loved the cafeteria and going to specials each day. Today though as I am typing this Morgan is at home sick already. She some how caught a cold, poor thing. When Morgan catches a cold it hits her hard. We have started the breathing treatments every four hours and they are helping, but the poor thing is working so hard on breathing that she can hardly talk. She is lying down now and hopefully will get some rest today so she can be back at school tomorrow.
