Morgan was so excited to have two of her best buddies come play. She really wanted to finally test our her swing set with Lucas. She was already out there swinging when they arrived. When she heard Lucas at the front door (it was a beautiful day so all doors and windows were open) she started shouting for him to come out and ride her 'horse' with her.

Yes, all of Morgan's swings have horse names.
The little pink swing included, who is Bullseye.

After swinging for a bit it was time to snuggle Macie.
Macie wasn't too thrilled with her position at the time.
I kept taking her and holding her to calm her down.
Morgan said to me, "Mommy, I want her back, quit hogging her."
I sure hope her little sister loves cuddles because that is all Morgan is going to want to do.
Then it was time to start dying eggs.
I snapped this shot before Morgan and I started and then asked David to take pictures for me.
He did, but he used his cell phone so I haven't received the pictures yet.
The next morning was Easter. Morgan woke up very excited knowing that the Easter Bunny had come to visit. She is such a sweet patient girl though. David was pretty tired so I asked her if we could hold off on our egg hunt and let Daddy sleep in for a bit. She said that would be fine so we quietly got up and enjoyed some breakfast and cartoons together. Around 8:00 we finally decided it was time to wake David and get her egg hunt underway. Morgan went in quietly trying to sneak up on David to wake him. It is always to funny to watch her do this. She gets so excited that she isn't very quiet at all because as she gets closer and closer she begins to shriek under her breath louder and louder until she is about 5 feet away from him and by then she is wide awake.
Once David was up Morgan got to find her Easter basket and the 'goodies' that the bunny left in it. This year he thankfully kept it simple. Morgan got a pair of bunny ears and two new gardening tools since we accidentally broke two tools last week while planting some new flowers.

After our egg hunt we had to of course go inside and find out what was in each egg. We then got ready to head down to Donna and Charley's for the afternoon. There Morgan got to have another egg hunt as the Easter Bunny of course stopped by there too. (Again, David took pictures on his phone so I don't have those yet). The bunny was very kind to Morgan bringing her three new books, her favorite being a new horse book called Diamond. She also found eggs hidden for her and Sophie (the dog). She enjoyed getting to help Sophie open her eggs and enjoy all the special treats the bunny left for her.
It was a fabulous Easter weekend with lots of time with good friends and family.
