Morgan was very excited about this big day (as was I). She is so excited to be able to come to my school next year. When we left the house that morning Morgan was shouting, "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" in her carseat. She just could not wait.

Morgan all ready to head to school. She of course had one of her horsey books in hand. We can't leave home without one. She loves to 'read' in the car.

David and his little girl outside Sycamore.
Once we drove on to campus it was like Morgan was a superstar. Everyone at school knows Morgan and they are all so excited that she will be part of our Sycamore family next year. I think Morgan really enjoyed all the attention, especially when she ran into Ms. Cronk.
We then headed into the MPR for our quick presentation and video where they showed the kids what kindergarten is all about. It was then time for parents to fill out paperwork and the kids to head to the kindergarten classrooms for an activity. We were lucky enough to have Ms. JoLynn (Morgan's para) attend round-up with her.
Morgan tried out all the different activities that Mrs. Kershner had set out. Her favorite was the geoboards which she used to build triangles.

Back at home Morgan wanted to try out her new Sycamore t-shirt that all the kids received.
I think she could wear it as a night gown.
Unfortunately they are not able to get any extra smalls, but luckily one of the parents of one of my students makes Sycamore t-shirts. She does a really neat tie-dye pattern, can make it in extra small and in pink with even some bling. I think Morgan will prefer that anyway, at least until she can grow into this shirt.
Morgan had a great time visiting Sycamore and is now even more anxious to start kindergarten.
